Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, the Supervisor is responsible for the efficient scheduling and oversight of subordinate employees to improve the quantity and quality of work and ensure efficient economic operations. This role includes planning, organizing, and managing employee concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists with day‑to‑day operation of the Food and Beverage venues by ensuring the team delivers best‑in‑class service to all guests while following Enterprise service standards. Prioritizes training and understanding of all line‑level positions to maintain and elevate brand standards and increase overall guest satisfaction.
- Collaborates with venue leadership to develop and execute department initiatives that build sales, profitability, and cost control. Ensures communication and execution of department‑wide fiscal and operational goals.
- Meets and maintains all safety and health requirements, tracks completion of required department‑wide training, and ensures food is served in a healthy, safe, and timely manner.
- Determines materials, equipment, and facilities needed for efficient operations. Ensures the cleanliness, organization and preparedness of the immediate workspace and adjacent areas. Ensures safety and security standards are in place and followed.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
Education, Experience and Qualifications- Associate’s degree in hospitality management, food service, business, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant, customer service or related experience required.
- Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of the minimum educational requirements indicated above.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are preferred.
- Must possess strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to successfully collaborate with and motivate others.
- Must be able to delegate, multi‑task, lead, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Must maintain a strict level of confidentiality and act consistently with all legal and regulatory requirements and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Must provide friendly and efficient service to guests and team members, addressing their needs and resolving issues.
- Must have clear and effective communication with guests and team members.
- Must be able to work under pressure, staying calm and efficient during busy periods.
- At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- Must obtain and maintain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification.
- Must obtain and maintain Serv Safe certification.
