Overview
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Southern New Jersey to provide In-Home weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Providing individual In-home therapy and Telehealth therapy sessions.
- Performing bio-psycho-social assessments (training or completion may be required).
- Provide coping and social skills training, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with the Child-Family Treatment Team and professionals from other disciplines who support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
- Must be able to complete or be willing to train for bio-psycho-social assessments.
- Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT).
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training.
- Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training.
- Post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience.
- Experience creating treatment plans, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Experience with counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care.
- Knowledge of DSM-5 for assessments and diagnosis.
- Availability for a minimum of 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12:00 noon – 8:00 pm); weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Experience providing positive behavior supports.
- Experience with children ages 3-20; experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
- Resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ license or certification.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship available).
- Licensed Social Worker – LSW
- Licensed Associate Counselor – LAC
- Licensed Family Therapist – LFT
- $45 - $75 per hour
