Licensed Mental Health Therapist; IIC - Gloucester

Overview

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Southern New Jersey to provide In-Home weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs.

• Providing individual In-home therapy and Telehealth therapy sessions.
• Performing bio-psycho-social assessments (training or completion may be required).
• Provide coping and social skills training, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression.
• Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with the Child-Family Treatment Team and professionals from other disciplines who support the youth and family.
• Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
• Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
• Must be able to complete or be willing to train for bio-psycho-social assessments.

• Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT).
• Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training.
• Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training.
• Post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience.
• Experience creating treatment plans, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments.
• Experience with counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 for assessments and diagnosis.
• Availability for a minimum of 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12:00 noon – 8:00 pm); weekend flexibility is a plus.
• Experience providing positive behavior supports.
• Experience with children ages 3-20; experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
• Resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ license or certification.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship available).
