Position: CT Technologist II
Location: Highland Park Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: Wednesday and Friday 8am-8:30pm, Saturday 6:30am-3pm
On Call: Yes
Required Travel: No
What you will do:
Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
What you will need:
License: IEMA license and ARRT Registered required
Education: Certification or Associate?s degree in Radiology from an accredited program Certification: CPR Certification required;
Advanced CT Certification requiredExperience: Previous CT Technologist experience ? at least 5 years preferred
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
