Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Addiction Program (LTC)

Bespoke Psychiatry is a growing psychiatric practice looking for Nurse Practitioners and / or Physician Assistants to collaborate on our addiction program in the long term care setting.

Our group is unique to any other group out there as you as a provider will have access to supervision and be able to discuss complex cases with two board-certified psychiatrists. In our experience, new graduates and even seasoned providers want someone with whom they can discuss difficult cases. We have two psychiatrists who not only see patients but also love to teach and discuss cases.

We want passionate people who share a team spirit and a positive attitude with coworkers, facility staff, and patients. Empathy, problem-solving skills, and strong communication are vital to the role.

Requirements
  • Addiction and substance abuse medication management and recovery treatment experience preferred
  • Must have a current IL license. Wisconsin preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
  • PMHNP Board Certification preferred but not required
  • Eligible for Prescriptive Authority in Illinois/WI.
  • BCLS certification.
  • Passion in the mental health field.
  • Be willing and able to drive to facilities.
Responsibilities
  • The addiction program provider is a key member of the psychiatric team and is trained to coordinate and provide consultation services for other psychiatrists when appropriate. Provide prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
