Position: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - MRI/Radiology - Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range

$57.76 - $80.86 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

    Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time:
    Per diem / as needed
  • Hours:

    Monday through Friday on days. No weekends, holidays, or call.
  • Required Travel:
    Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals
What you will need
  • License: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of IL required;
    Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
  • Education: Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
  • Certification: BLS/CPR and ACLS required
  • Experience: Cardiac device (pacemaker/defibrillator) experience preferred. If without cardiac device experience, some cardiology experience required.
What you will do
  • Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments
  • Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
  • Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
  • Must be comfortable with technology and frequent changes in technology. Will be required to program/reprogram 7 devices from various pacemaker/defibrillator manufacturers
  • Will be required to perform off label (NON MRI conditional) exams
  • Must be comfortable working independently
  • Must be comfortable working and communicating with variety of specialties
