Vehicle Technician / Service Technician Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to repair and service our vehicles to the highest standards possible. You will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the retailer.

Salary

Service Technician - £34,000 £ 36,500 - Depending On Qualifications. OTE's : £50,000 - £60,000

• To receive work from the workshop controller and carry out related checks, administration and protection routines.
• To assess tool and equipment requirements and communicate any related issues.
• To service and repair all vehicles.
• To report on all additional repair requirements as they are identified.
• To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation.
• To complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work.
• To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• To undertake vehicle road tests when necessary.
• To assist with development and training of other technicians.
• To attend meetings and training programmes as required.
• To perform other duties in support of other team members as required.

• You will be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician ideally with VAG group background.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
