We’re looking for 2 Base Supervisors to lead and support our team of Civil Enforcement Officers delivering parking enforcement services, one at our High Wycombe base and the other s is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping the borough moving safely and efficiently while developing and supporting a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support a contract-based team of Civil Enforcement Officers.
- Oversee daily operations across the enforcement contract.
- Ensure operational and contractual requirements are consistently met.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Manage team performance, including appraisals, training, and disciplinary investigations.
- Conduct fleet checks to ensure vehicles are safe, compliant, and suitable for operational use.
- Verify driver check sheets and operational documentation.
- Ensure reports, statements, and incident paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety for yourself and the wider team.
- Ensure activities align with company policy, contract specifications, and client expectations.
You’re a confident leader who enjoys supporting teams, improving performance, and delivering excellent service. You will ideally have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Experience in a customer‑facing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure
- Experience in parking enforcement, local authority services, or regulated operational environments would be highly beneficial. Occasional travel within Buckinghamshire, candidates with Driving Licence preferred.
