In this full‑time Supply Chain Analyst position, you will join the team based in our Perth office. The role primarily involves reviewing, analysing, recommending, and executing supply chain operational activities and project development initiatives in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities- Analyse and evaluate import and export operations conducted via air and sea freight to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency across the supply chain.
- Develop and assist in implementing strategies and operational plans designed to optimise cargo routing, shipment tracking, and customer service experience.
- Review and enhance documentation, compliance procedures, and system workflows to minimise delays and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Communicate regularly with customers, freight agents, and internal teams to identify challenges and collaborate on solutions to improve overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor cargo tracing systems and provide timely updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in shipment progress.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations aimed at revising methods and workflows, supporting continuous improvement and organisational innovation.
- Evaluate, monitor, and refine delivery and supply chain processes by managing route activities, including shipment tracking, invoicing, and electronic billing, to ensure timely and accurate operational outcomes.
- Assist in the implementation of improvement initiatives, continuously evaluating results and proposing further enhancements.
- Plan and investigate strategically effective and relevant transport methods, which will optimally meet the needs of EMO Trans and its agents and customers when arranging the import/export of goods.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff and operational teams to build capabilities in supply chain management and best practices.
- Have a relevant bachelor’s degree or higher. Alternatively, at least 5 years full‑time work experience in a supply chain or logistics analyst role.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Good technical skills and knowledge of tools including Cargo
Wise1 and Excel. - Ability to manipulate data to assist with analysis, reporting, and highlight anomalies for actions.
- Strong analytical, project planning and commercial acumen.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, follow direction but also collaborate as a team.
