The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BI & ERP Data Analyst to take ownership of reporting, data integrity, and insight delivery across a multi-department environment. The role sits at the heart of a wider transformation programme, supporting ongoing ERP optimisation and delivering trusted, role-based reporting to teams across Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Engineering, and Operations. This position is ideal for someone who is hands‑on with data, confident working with stakeholders, and passionate about translating raw information into meaningful business insight.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, including data modelling and DAX.
- Build and improve ERP reporting frameworks (experience with Acumatica or similar ERP systems desirable).
- Create and manage SQL queries, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure accuracy across systems.
- Own data quality, governance rules, and definitions to establish a single source of truth.
- Support ERP migration and optimisation activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Partner with business teams to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
- Implement exception reporting and automation to reduce manual effort and improve controls.
- Contribute to the development of governed datasets for analytics and AI-enabled reporting.
- Strong experience in BI reporting, ERP data analysis, or similar roles.
- Excellent skills in Power BI, SQL, and DAX.
- Experience with Acumatica is highly desirable (or other ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics, Netsuite).
- Strong attention to data quality, governance, and consistency.
- Ability to work confidently with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving ability.
- Exposure to Acumatica configuration or customisation.
- Experience with Python or Power Automate for reporting automation.
- Background in wholesale, distribution, logistics, or order-driven environments.
- High-visibility role within a growing transformation programme.
