Are you looking to develop your Health & Safety career? If you've gained some initial Health & Safety experience and want to study towards professional qualifications, this could be the job for you.
The Role
You'll be supporting a small, focused H & S team to deliver an effective service to this hugely successful multi-site business. This will involve developing your H & S knowledge so you can provide advice to site staff to enable compliance and best practice.
You'll learn to conduct site HSQ Audits with associated reporting and action follow-ups, work with other internal teams to ensure H & S compliance; as well as manage the HSQ Induction process for new starters.
Maintaining the Company's HSQ Management System will be a core activity in this role, becoming a 'super user' with the ability to develop it's use. You'll also receive training in accident investigation and COSHH assessments to support the team, and get involved with meetings, workshops and forums both internally and externally.
About You
- You'll be able to show a basic understanding of Health, Safety, Quality procedures and may have already gained COSHH or other H&S qualifications.
- Microsoft Office to intermediate level is essential with experience of data entry and maintaining databases such as CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential for this role
