Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support the Church’s mission by ensuring financial resources are managed with accuracy, integrity, and strong stewardship.
Reporting to the Budgeting and Compliance Supervisor, you will contribute to budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and internal control activities that help leaders make timely and well‑informed decisions.
You will work closely with departmental leadership, support financial operations across the Europe North Area, and play an active role in improving financial systems, processes, and reporting practices.
The successful candidate upholds the standards of the Church, works with integrity, and brings a high level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail to their responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Support the Meetinghouse Facilities Department and other assigned departments in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse cashflow and budget performance reports to ensure accuracy and support decision‑making.
- Coordinate Facility Maintenance, Real Estate, Construction, Planning and other operational teams to ensure compliance with established financial policies and fixed asset accounting standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and support when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, or similar functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working with financial systems.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Professional accounting qualifications or an MBA preferred.
