Group Financial Accountant

NHB Recruitment are working alongside this global music and audio technology group in their search for a Group Financial Accountant. This is a high-impact role offering ownership of statutory and technical accounting processes within a fast-paced, international, listed group.

The Role

Reporting into Group Finance, you will play a key role in external reporting, IFRS technical accounting, tax, and treasury matters across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Group’s annual and half-year IFRS reporting process
• Preparing consolidated statutory accounts and disclosures
• Acting as the primary contact for external auditors
  , coordinating audit processes
• Producing IFRS technical accounting papers for senior management and the Audit Committee
• Owning and maintaining Group accounting policies and the Finance Manual
• Acting as the Group’s IFRS technical expert
  , supporting regional finance teams
• Managing the internal controls framework and declaration process
• Preparing statutory accounts for UK entities and ensuring timely filing
• Accounting for share-based payments
  , including budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting outsourced tax providers
  , including deferred tax and tax packs
• Supporting treasury activities
  , including hedge documentation and FX exposure analysis

You will ideally have:

• ACA qualification
  , trained in practice with an audit background
• Strong IFRS technical accounting expertise
• Experience working in, or with, a multi-national or listed company
• Exposure to multi-currency group consolidations
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex accounting matters to non-financial stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with a desire to improve and streamline processes
• Experience with Net Suite and Microsoft BI (advantageous, not essential)
