Management Accountant

A permanent Management Accountant job paying up to £50k for a manufacturing business in Kidderminster. Job Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum

Mon-Thurs (9-5.15) and Fri (9-4) Your new company Hays Senior Finance are excited to be supporting a key client in the Kidderminster area with the recruitment of a new Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Your new role You will act as a number two to the Finance Director and play a key role in supporting the business with accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and strategic decision-making whilst leading a small team. Main duties:
Production of management accounts and financial reports Monitor cash flow and support with annual budgeting Support year-end processes Prepare KPI and financial information to aid profitability and business growth VAT reconciliations and submissions Production of relevant commercial analysis e.g. margins and pricing Oversight of weekly and monthly payroll Ensure compliance with financial controls and help with the improvement of systems Lead and motivate a small team What you'll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE Proven management accounting experience, preferably gained in an SME environment Manufacturing background (highly desirable) Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly proficient with Excel and finance systems (Sage 200 an advantage) What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and the opportunity to work in a well-respected, local business that boasts a collaborative working environment.
