Science Teacher Buckinghamshire

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in Buckinghamshire, rated "Good" by Ofsted. The school is committed to academic excellence and prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.

They are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject specialism. You will play an important role in developing students  scientific understanding, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate).
• Inspire and motivate students, supporting both their academic progress and personal development.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and improvement.
• Support and participate in extracurricular activities, such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or enrichment programmes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment.

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching Science at GCSE level (A-Level experience is desirable but not essential).
• A genuine passion for Science and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A positive, proactive approach to teaching and student development.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
