Overview
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Academics are recruiting an Outreach Tutor in High Wycombe to work with a small caseload of disengaged or vulnerable learners who require personalised, community-based educational support.
Responsibilities- Deliver bespoke academic and pastoral sessions to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
- Work in learners' homes, libraries, community centres, and other local settings to help students regain confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and progress towards reintegration into school or alternative provisions.
- Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Experience working 1:1 and the ability to tailor teaching to individual learning styles.
- Ability to thrive in flexible, one-to-one environments and make a meaningful impact on hard-to-reach learners.
