Teaching Assistant

Are you interested in launching your career in education as a Teaching Assistant? We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic SEND school in Bourne End, supporting reception to KS2 students with SEND.

This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary setting and have SEND experience, and must be available for the whole academic year.

• Assist children in their learning and growth as a Teaching Assistant.
• Contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised.
• Work 1:1 with children with SEND needs to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones.

• Available immediately.
• Experience working in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant and supporting students with SEND.
• Willing to support SEND children as a Teaching Assistant.
• Must have a child‑only DBS or be willing to obtain one.
• Have experience with children in some capacity in the UK where you can provide a reference.
• Live local to Bourne End or within a commutable distance.
