We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our warm and welcoming team. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting young children's development and enjoys working as part of a close-knit, professional team.
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities- Support the planning and delivery of creative, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to individual learning plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times
- Work closely with parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
- Support children with personal care routines, including mealtimes and toileting
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent)
- A caring, patient, and positive approach when working with young children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of child development and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
