Accounts & Audit Senior

Clark Wood are currently working with an established, well-regarded accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their expanding team in High Wycombe.

This reputable firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit and accounts services while maintaining a supportive, collaborative culture that encourages professional growth. They are now seeking an ambitious and personable accounting professional who is keen to develop their career within a firm that values long-term  this role, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and corporate entities.

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, leading audits, liaising with clients, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and within deadlines.

You will build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and providing clear, practical advice. In addition, you will support junior team members through on-the-job guidance and mentoring, ensuring high standards are maintained across the department.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or studying, or QBE with relevant experience), with proven experience in accounts preparation and audit within an accountancy practice. Strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively are essential.
