Showroom Warehouse Associate
Hooker Furnishings is currently recruiting a Showroom Warehouse Associate to support operations in our High Point, NC showroom location. Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 101st year of business, is a designer, marketer, and importer of case goods (wood and metal furniture), leather furniture, and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality, and contract markets.
The Position
The Showroom Warehouse Associate supports the setup, maintenance, and organization of showroom furniture and inventory at our showroom in High Point, NC. This position assists with furniture movement, inventory tracking, and general showroom and warehouse operations to ensure a professional and organized environment for designers, visitors, and employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, movement, and arrangement of furniture and displays within showroom spaces.
- Support showroom resets and layout changes as directed by showroom leadership and designers.
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming furniture and showroom materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory of showroom merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe showroom and warehouse environment.
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, designers, visitors, and employees.
- Provide support during showroom preparation and activities for Furniture Market.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support showroom and warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, showroom, or similar environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Availability to work during Furniture Market and weekend/night overtime as required during Market.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and position furniture and perform physical work in a warehouse/showroom environment.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm. (Night and weekend overtime required during Furniture Market)
