Description$13.00 to $17.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process!

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business, processing sales, loans, and other transactions with a wide variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
- Processes sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items securely.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Works collaboratively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and effective communication.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Completes assigned training.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- May be asked to assist customers outside building premises or access exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and work as a team.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Can work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate; capable of operating POS systems and common office machines.
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Further details are provided during the interview process.
