Overview
We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Manager to join our Team.
Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, our Retail Store Managers can earn a very lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of total yearly income.

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). A Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and promoting a positive, productive environment. They lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit top talent, and are responsible for maximizing financial goals and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The Store Manager sets a customer-centric tone, analyzes store financial statements to meet goals, and makes necessary adjustments.
The Store Manager commits to the asset protection program through inventory control, following policies and procedures, and securing customer loans. They will promote the business using internal and external marketing tools and may work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance and reports to the District Manager.
Responsibilitiesof a Store Manager

- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and follow procedures to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control and secure customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
- Communicate clearly with employees about the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) as required by law.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Occasionally assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Store Managers will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed and depend on business needs.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills and cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong work ethic.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Applicants will receive more details during the interview process.
