To qualify, you need an active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina and graduation from an accredited nursing program, either Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). At least 1 year of recent telemetry or progressive care experience is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is recommended. You must be skilled in cardiac monitoring, interpreting telemetry rhythms, administering medications, and using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
