Established Independent Multi-Specialty Practice Seeking a Full Time RN to join our team in our Endoscopy Center!

Our mission at BMC is to provide excellent care through a multi-specialty approach from prevention to intervention of potentially life-threatening health problems. Seeking a Full-Time RN for our Endoscopy Center in High Point, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse (RN):
Bethany Medical Center (BMC), a multi-specialty physician practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem, Mount Airy and North Wilkesboro, NC, is seeking a RN to work in the Endoscopy Center in High Point. This person will work closely with our Provider and fellow staff members to provide quality patient care and satisfaction in our pre and post-procedure areas 50% of the time.

The other 50% of time will be assisting with our Value-Based Care Programs.

• Perform nursing actions consistent with established policies and procedures when providing direct/indirect patient care.
• Monitor patient BP, pulse, respirations and SaO 2%.
• Start IVs.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as ordered by a physician.
• Maintain an open airway and administer O2 as ordered.
• Obtain EKGs.
• Input data into EMR.
• Give post-procedure instructions to patient and family, including medication and diet education.
• Patient assessment prior to discharge.
• Assist with Bethany Medical Center’s Value-Based Care Programs.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to establish and maintain a working relationship with Provider, management, staff, and patients.

• Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the state of North Carolina with one year’s nursing experience.
• Must be certified in BCLS (Required). ACLS is preferred.
• Outpatient surgery experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent documentation skills; experience with Allscripts Pro Suite a plus.
