  • Pay Range: $34.90 – $52.35 per hour
Position Highlights
  • 36‑bed progressive care and designated stroke unit with diverse patient population.
  • High‑Point Medical Center is a 351‑bed, private, non‑profit facility accredited as a Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center. Relocation assistance available.
  • We cover the costs of 183 nursing certifications from the ANCC.
  • Eligible for the Clinical Nurse Credentialing Pathway™ – an incentivized program rewarding professional advancement.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of RN experience.
  • Graduate of a Board‑of‑Nursing‑approved nursing education program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Active, unrestricted registered nurse license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing services.
Responsibilities
  • Engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence‑based practices.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families from admission to post‑discharge.
  • Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team to influence care outcomes.
  • Uphold and promote a culture of safety.
  • Continuously evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
  • Pursue professional development, complete required education, and maintain certifications.
  • Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and practice ethical decision‑making, respecting interdisciplinary roles, and contributing to integrated, unbiased patient care.
  • Appropriate delegation to RN, LPN, nursing assistants, and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
  • May be required to float to other units, departments, or facilities within the service area.
  • Demonstrate age‑specific knowledge and skills for the patient population served.
