- Schedule:
7am–7pm with every 3rd weekend - Pay Range: $34.90–$52.35 per hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (eligible candidates meet requirements)
- Department:
Neuro-Telemetry (36‑bed progressive care and designated stroke unit) - Location:
High Point Medical Center – 351‑bed, private, non‑profit facility;
Chest Pain Center;
Primary Stroke Center - Relocation Assistance:
Available for qualifying candidates - Certification Coverage:
Advocate Health covers costs for 183 different nursing certifications (ANCC) - Clinical Nurse Credentialing Pathway (CNCP) Eligible:
Incentivized program rewarding professional advancement through education, certifications, engagement
- Minimum one year of RN experience
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- BLS by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Active, unrestricted RN multi‑state compact and/or single‑state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
- Engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence‑based practices
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families from admission to post‑discharge
- Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team to influence care outcomes
- Uphold and promote a culture of safety; continuously evaluate outcomes and take action as needed
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures
- Demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation
- Pursue professional development, complete required education, and maintain certifications
- Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation; may be required to float to other units, departments, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs
- Base compensation within the pay range of $34.90–$52.35 per hour based on qualifications, experience, training
- Premium pay for shift, on‑call, and additional roles
- Incentive pay for select positions
