  • Pay Range: $34.90–$52.35 per hour
Position Highlights
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (eligible candidates meet requirements)

    High Point Medical Center – 351‑bed, private, non‑profit facility;
    Chest Pain Center;

  • Clinical Nurse Credentialing Pathway (CNCP) Eligible:

Requirements
  • Minimum one year of RN experience
  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
  • BLS by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Active, unrestricted RN multi‑state compact and/or single‑state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
Responsibilities
  • Engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence‑based practices
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families from admission to post‑discharge
  • Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team to influence care outcomes
  • Uphold and promote a culture of safety; continuously evaluate outcomes and take action as needed
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures
  • Demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation
  • Pursue professional development, complete required education, and maintain certifications
  • Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation; may be required to float to other units, departments, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs
