Overview
Our client, a leading manufacturer of disposable food packaging products, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their day shift team in Randleman, NC.
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in keeping the foam dinnerware production running smoothly. In this role, you’ll spend 75% of your time on the floor, leading a team dedicated to maintaining and improving production equipment performance.
Responsibilities- Supervise maintenance operations to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service.
- Lead by example to promote a strong commitment to Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Coordinate with planners and production teams to schedule proactive maintenance and ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze production schedules and prioritize repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Track KPIs, audit processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring equipment issues.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance and reliability experience.
- At least 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills (automation, robotics, controls).
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with plant production software (SAP preferred).
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
