Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Sock Knitting Technician to support innovation and product development within our textile manufacturing environment. This role focuses on designing new sock patterns, testing materials, creating prototypes, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to bring new products to market. The ideal candidate has a strong background in knitting technology and experience using Digraph 3 Launch Design software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to design and develop new sock patterns, materials, and technologies that meet market trends and customer expectations.
  • Conduct yarn and material testing to evaluate durability, comfort, and overall performance.
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
  • Create prototypes of new sock designs and evaluate fit, function, and visual appeal.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to support successful product launches.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences to guide R&D initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in knitting technology or textile R&D, preferably focused on Lonati machines
    .
  • At least 1 year of experience using Digraph 3 Launch Design software
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
