Mickey Truck Bodies is hiring a Manufacturing Fabrication Technician / Team Leader for our 2nd shift Machine Room. This is a hands‑on leadership position combining metal fabrication, machine operation, and team leadership in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for experienced fabrication technicians, machine operators, welders, or lead operators looking to grow into or continue in a leadership role.

• Lead and support fabrication technicians on 2nd shift
• Operate and set up fabrication and production machinery
• Assign work, monitor production flow, and meet daily output goals
• Troubleshoot equipment, programming and fabrication issues
• Inspect parts and in‑process work to ensure quality standards
• Train and mentor employees on fabrication processes and safety
• Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate production updates and issues to management
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

• 3–5 years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience
• Prior experience as a team leader, or senior technician preferred
• Programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working in a production or fabrication shop environment
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight 2nd shift

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Ability to bend, reach, and work around machinery
• Comfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environment
