We are hiring for an Assembly Manager in the Greater Greensboro Area - ideal candidates will have SAP and/or Power BI experience, OSHA EPA and EHS knowledge, supervisory experience with a team 10+, and working knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and Hazmat.

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Assembly Manager to oversee the manufacturing and assembly operations within our production facility. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for assembling products efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. This role is vital in ensuring smooth workflow on the assembly line, maintaining high productivity levels, and fostering a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, factory experience, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily assembly line activities to ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely availability of parts and materials for assembly operations.
  • Train and mentor assembly team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols related to forklift operation, handling of equipment, and general factory safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assembly processes to identify inefficiencies or potential safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality issues for reporting purposes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and recommending process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards across all manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, preferably within an assembly or production setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of assembly line processes and manufacturing best practices.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical components.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
