We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Team Leader to support operations at their High Point, NC facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys coaching teams, building processes, and driving continuous improvement
— especially within a start-up manufacturing environment

- Lead by example as a working Team Leader
, actively participating alongside Production Associates - Serve as backup support for Operators as needed
- Manage daily production workflows, including chemical batching and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with team members to meet production goals and customer commitments
- Recruit, onboard, train, and support employees throughout their full lifecycle
- Coach and motivate production staff, fostering engagement, accountability, and teamwork
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and respect
- Support performance management, scheduling, and payroll administration
- Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are met or exceeded
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and track KPIs
- Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation
- Maintain strong communication with leadership on performance, quality, and operational needs
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering Technology or related field
- (Polymer technology/engineering is a strong asset)
- Post-secondary education in manufacturing, logistics, or related discipline
, or equivalent experience - 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Strong coaching, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity operating production equipment
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and intermediate computer applications
- Forklift license and warehouse equipment training preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, pushing, and extended walking
