Monday, Tuesday, Friday - 10 hour shifts
Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.
Position Highlights- Sign on Bonus: $15,000 sign on bonus (New Hire), $10,000 sign on bonus (New Grad) provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements.

- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S).
- Two of the following registries are required:
Vascular (RVT), AB (Abdomen), PS (Pediatric). - CPR certification required.
- Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.
- Examine requests and verify orders on each assigned patient.
- Assist Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
- Evaluate technical quality of exam and develop a superior varied technique for elevated efficiency in the department.
- Support and contribute to the Patient-Centered Care Philosophy by understanding that every staff member is a Caregiver, whose role is to meet the needs of each patient.
- Report malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director, Lead Sonographer and/or Engineer.
- Operate the Radiology computer system to include entering and charging exams and supplies.
- Maintain assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion. Assist in keeping the area completely stocked.
- Adhere to departmental rules and regulations while performing in a professional manner always.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrate the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
- Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Requires moderate to heavy physical effort in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies up to 600 pounds with assistance.
- Work requires walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting during normal operation.
- Requires mental skills to read and comprehend patient orders and technical materials.
- Motor coordination needed to operate heavy and delicate equipment.
- Intact sense of sight and hearing.
