Responsibilities:
Physicians in this role work to:
Provide comprehensive care, including treating chronic illnesses and advising on preventative healthcare.
Perform physical exams, take medical histories, interpret diagnostic tests, and recommend treatment plans.
Physician Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited medical school (M.D./D.O.).Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License (M.D./D.O.).Board certification in primary care or related field.
Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing.
