Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

The Project Manager will lead and oversee asphalt paving and infrastructure construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This position works closely with operations, plant teams, estimators, and field leadership to drive performance and protect margins.

• Manage multiple asphalt paving and roadway projects simultaneously
• Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and equipment coordination
• Monitor job costs, quantities, production rates, and forecast profitability
• Review contracts, scopes, and specifications to ensure compliance
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and contract modifications
• Ensure projects meet industrial and commercial specifications
• Track budgets, cost reports, and margin performance
• Approve invoices and manage subcontractor pay applications
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and mitigate risk exposure
• Support monthly forecasting and revenue projections

• Serve as primary point of contact for owners and industrial clients
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Lead project meetings and provide progress updates
• Work closely with Superintendents and field crews to resolve issues quickly
• Coordinate with asphalt plant operations for scheduling and logistics
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance

• 5+ years of experience in asphalt paving, roadway, or heavy civil project management
• Strong knowledge of asphalt production, paving operations, and industrial project standards
• Experience managing industrial and commercial infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in project management software and cost tracking systems
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and contracts
• Strong financial acumen and schedule management skills
