Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview

We are hiring for an Accounts Payable Clerk Position in High Point, NC.

High Point, NC 27262

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Industry: Manufacturing

Pay: $23 – $25 per hour

• Review all inventory invoices and perform a 3-way match (invoice, packing slip, and PO); ensure that the packing slip and invoice match.
• Review and code all non-inventory (expense) invoices.
• Enter invoices timely.
• Handle petty cash; write petty cash tickets; ensure petty cash box balances (giving correct change).
• Replenish petty cash monthly once the senior accountant has coded and reconciled the petty cash box; enter into Sys Pro and generate checks to replenish petty cash.
• Review with the controller the invoice selection for what will be paid each week.
• Generate checks and ACH/wire payments.
• Manage Concur, ensuring that invoices/receipts are matched to statements and coded properly.
• Back up A/R invoicing.
• Generate A/R cash receipts.

• Must have intermediate Excel skill level.
• High integrity.
• Must understand and have experience with ERP systems.
• Must have critical thinking and high attention to detail.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
