Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and deadline-driven Senior Accountant to join our client's growing organization operating within both a manufacturing and non-profit environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting operational excellence, and maintaining compliance across multiple entities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, brings strong technical accounting skills, and enjoys partnering cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support manufacturing cost accounting processes, including inventory analysis and standard costing
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and non-profit reporting requirements
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership for operational decision-making
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Assist with grant reporting and restricted fund accounting (as applicable)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
• ERP experience required —
  SAP or Sage X3 strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• CPA designation is a plus (not required)
• Highly deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
