Team Leader, Manufacturing ​/ Production

JDR are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment within the Bagging Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience who is looking to progress and develop within a growing production business.

Week 1:
Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00
Friday: 06:00 - 12:00

Week 2:
Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00
Friday: 12:00 - 18:00

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring production targets and KPIs are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining production lines
• Producing daily plans and organising team activities
• Driving continuous improvement and optimising machine running times
• Assisting with machine maintenance tasks
• Working closely with supervisory staff and production management
• Leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ordering materials and completing monthly stock takes

• Previous experience supervising or managing a team
• Machine operative experience (food manufacturing experience desirable)
• Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Computer literate
• Strong work ethic, reliable and committed
• Flexible to meet departmental needs
• Able to work under pressure

• £14.99 per hour starting rate
• £1.79 per hour shift allowance
• Pay increase once fully trained
