Production Operative – Slabber / Machine Operator

Location: New Mills, SK22

Financial & Credit Independence is recruiting a hands‑on Slabber / Machine Operator to join our team in New Mills. In this role you will operate production machinery, handle materials and products safely, perform manual handling and heavy lifting, maintain quality and safety standards, and keep the work area clean and organised.

• Week 1
  • Monday – Thursday: 05:30 – 13:30
  • Friday: 05:30 – 11:30
• Week 2
  • Monday – Thursday: 13:30 – 21:30
  • Friday: 11:30 – 17:30

• £14.39 per hour

• Operate production machinery
• Handle materials and products safely
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting
• Maintain quality and safety standards
• Keep the work area clean and organized

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to carry out heavy lifting and physical work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts
• Strong awareness of health and safety
