Cdl B - Transport Driver

• Safe Vehicle Operation:
  Navigating public roads and job sites safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Vehicle Inspections:
  Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check fluid levels, tires, brakes, and lights.
• Cargo Management:
  Loading and unloading materials, often using tools like pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Compliance & Logs:
  Maintaining accurate electronic or paper driving logs, tracking work hours, and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Maintenance:
  Performing minor servicing such as refueling, cleaning the vehicle, and reporting mechanical issues to supervisors.

Salary: $21 - $22 per hour

Shift: First

Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Education: No Degree Required

A CDL Class B (Commercial Driver's License) job typically involves operating single vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of more 26,000 pounds
. Unlike Class A drivers, Class B operators usually drive "straight" vehicles where the engine and cargo area are part of the same chassis, and they are restricted to towing trailers that weigh 10,000 pounds or less
.
