Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist with specific experience in aerospace or an electronic component manufacturer. In this role, you will be the final gatekeeper of quality and the first point of contact for raw materials, ensuring that every component entering or leaving our facility is accompanied by the precise documentation required by AS9100 standards.

Salary: $20 – $24 per hour.

Shift: First.

Hours:

8 AM – 5 PM.

Education:

No degree required.

• Unload and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Perform visual inspections for transit damage and verify part markings/quantities.
• Assign and apply internal tracking labels (QR codes/Barcodes) to raw materials and hardware.
• Archive quality records digitally and physically to support customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Prepare outbound aerospace components for shipment, utilizing specialized packaging (ESD‑safe, foam‑in‑place, or custom crating) to prevent damage.
• Generate accurate shipping documents.
• Coordinate with carriers (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, and specialized freight forwarders).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
