Overview
Clinical Psychologist - Nassau, NY. Apply to Achieve Beyond as a Clinical Psychologist in Nassau, NY to help children with special needs reach their goals. Achieve Beyond offers pediatric therapy across home, community, and clinic settings with a culture of collaboration and high ethical standards. Services include ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, Physical Therapy, and Special Education/SEIT. We serve children and families in the New York metro area, as well as other regions.

This position is in Nassau, NY. You can work a flexible schedule that meets your needs and make a difference in the lives of our children and families.
Wage:
Evaluations $130.00-$350.00
- Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
- Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
- Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
- Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
- Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.
- Must have a passion for working with children and families.
- Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license.
- Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
- Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases.
- Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
- The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.
- Flexible work schedule.

Job responsibilities subject to change. Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the Clinical Psychologist interview process.
