Salary: $62,500 – $83,000 per year.

Type:
Full–time.

Utilizes various professional skills and activities, under supervision, to serve the treatment needs of the client.

Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 for remaining employed full‑time 6 months.

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling (required)
• Licensed Master of Social Worker in New York, Mental Health Counseling, or plan to become certified (required)
• Maintain highest level of professional licensure upon eligibility

• Minimum three years of post‑graduate experience in the field or crisis work
• Minimum 2 years experience in a substance abuse service delivery setting
• EHR/computer skills (must)
• Co‑occurring disorder experience (must)

• Gather sufficient information for each client to make a diagnostic assessment
• Implement appropriate crisis services when needed to prevent decomposition and move client toward an appropriate treatment plan
• Share information about the Agency and its services
• Help clients become effective consumers of mental health and substance abuse services
• Maintain client stability through a planned ongoing treatment relationship
• Regularly assess with supervisor the progress of the client’s treatment
• Assist clients in developing appropriate expectations from treatment
• Assist the client in understanding fee and insurance responsibilities
• Strengthen the ability of the client to utilize therapy and find resources after treatment through proper discharge planning and termination process
• Establish and maintain appropriate and timely clinical case records
• Perform outreach to clients and home visits as necessary
• Participate in all required internal and external meetings
• Utilize and understand the value of supervision
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate students when assigned
• Facilitate sharing of data with clients in partnered decision‑making
• Complete QI training during onboarding and participate in refresher training as needed
• Cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
