Summary
In the Operations Coordinator role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, and coordinating freight movements. This role involves identifying and onboarding new carriers, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing excellent service to support the logistics operations of the brokerage.
Duties/Responsibilities- Establish and nurture strong relationships with carriers to secure capacity for shipments.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers, balancing cost-efficiency with service quality.
- Identify, vet, and onboard new carriers to expand the network and ensure adequate capacity for various freight needs.
- Freight Booking:
Book freight with carriers and ensure timely and accurate dispatch
