Plumber, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
The Service Plumber reports to the General Manager and is responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues and ensuring the smooth operation of water and drainage systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Service Plumber will play a crucial role in providing high-quality plumbing services to our customers.
PrimaryRoles and Responsibilities Plumbing Services
- Provide expert plumbing services to residential and commercial clients.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems promptly and accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems to restore functionality.
- Ensure the vehicle is professionally cleaned, maintained and stocked to service customers as quickly as possible.
- “Pet the Dog” AKA break the ice and build a relationship.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their plumbing needs and concerns.
- Explain service options, costs, and timelines clearly and professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exemplary service delivery.
- Execute plumbing services efficiently, meeting industry standards and best practices.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete service calls promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch on updates.
- Uphold the highest quality standards in all plumbing services provided.
- Stay updated on plumbing codes, regulations, and industry advancements.
- Ensure all services adhere to relevant codes and safety standards.
- Implement proper documentation for compliance and reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation has been attached to Service Titan.
- Ensure that all notes have Titan.
- Ensure that the “Job Checklist” is checked daily.
- Collaborate with team members to share expertise and insights.
- Coordinate with support staff for scheduling and logistical support.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Active participation in weekly group training sessions.
- Adhere to safety standards and guidelines while performing plumbing tasks.
- Utilize personal protective equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations.

Min. of 2 years plumbing experience
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 2 years of prior experience in the plumbing industry
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations or accidents in the past three years
Work Environment Requirements
Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Crawlspace work as needed.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel RequirementsThis is a full‑time position, working 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evenings and weekend work. This position requires on‑call time. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected.
