Commission:
Earn up to 8% on transactions, potentially adding an average of $2.20 per hour above your base rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions across a variety of products including jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

Compensation includes an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity, with the base pay based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and display.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with colleagues and managers.
• Partners with all staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Employee may be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math calculation proficiency.
• Preferred cash handling experience.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Applicants receive additional details during interview.
