We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The Prep Cook supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety in all food preparation areas.

• Be a part of a compassionate and high-performing team.
• Wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients for daily meals and recipes.
• Assist with basic cooking tasks under the direction of the Chef or Cook.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols, following state and federal guidelines.
• Label and store food properly to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of prep stations, equipment, and kitchen tools.
• Support the culinary team during meal service and special events.
• Help receive, unpack, and store food deliveries.
• Assist with dishwashing or other kitchen tasks as needed.
• Communicate respectfully with team members, residents, and staff.
• Contribute to a positive kitchen culture that emphasizes safety, respect, and service.

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler Card with thorough understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety codes.

• Previous experience as a prep cook or line cook in a restaurant, healthcare, or senior living setting is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• A passion for serving older adults and working in a team-focused kitchen.
