- Facility includes a 32 bed Emergency Department, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging, and a 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.
- Patient population primarily adult with diagnoses including Schizophrenia, Dementia, Manic Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Dual Diagnosis, Medical Detox, Depression and Anxiety Disorders.
Job Details
- Must have 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Health specialty.
- Required certifications include BLS and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI).
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse License in North Carolina.
Job Requirements
- Behavioral Health specialty with adult patient population.
- Common diagnoses include Schizophrenia, Dementia, Manic Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Dual Diagnosis, Medical Detox, Depression and Anxiety Disorders.
- Patient ratios vary by unit, e.g., 23 patients with 2 RNs and 4 CNAs, down to 10 patients with 1 RN and 2 CNAs.
Unit Specific Information
- Unit profile includes 5 units with varying patient to nurse ratios.
- EHR system used is Cerner.
- No call requirements.
- Dress code allows any color scrub; certification with Handle with Care is preferred but training is provided.
