Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Mother/Baby experience and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Care for laboring mothers and postpartum mother/baby patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
- Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7PM to 7AM, with every other weekend required
- Option to pick up a fourth shift if available
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card must be provided
- Holiday and every other weekend coverage are required
- First time travelers will be considered
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Mother/Baby experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS (via AHA), and NRP required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
