Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Location

Hickory, NC

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to adult patients with a range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, dementia, bipolar disorder, dual diagnosis, and anxiety disorders. The successful applicant will have an active HWC or CPI certification, and we will provide training as necessary.

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Manage patient assessments, care plans, and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and responses.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aligned with treatment goals.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment plans.

• Active HWC or CPI certification (training will be provided if not currently held).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum experience in behavioral health preferred.
