Sewer – Upholstery (Furniture Manufacturing)

We’re looking for an experienced Sewer to join our Upholstery team in North Carolina. This is a full‑time, hourly position with great benefits, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, 9 paid holidays, short‑term disability, and a 401(k)-company match.

• Operate industrial stitching machines to sew cushions, pillows, and other upholstery items
• Join fabric parts, create hems, and reinforce seams
• Inspect fabrics and finished pieces for quality compliance
• Clean, monitor, and perform minor maintenance on sewing machines
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following all safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 3–5 years of sewing experience (experience with a double needle machine required)
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and communicate effectively with team members
• Strong attention to detail and urgency to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, and linear measurement)
• Ability to maintain production and work records
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen
• Ability to move up to 35 lbs.

High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant work experience).

This role is based in a manufacturing upholstery shop environment with dust and noise typical of production. Personal protective equipment is provided.

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Overtime may be required, especially in summer, including evenings and weekends
