Job Description
** This position is responsible for using appropriate tools to sand furniture.  Need experienced hand sanders.
** Essential Duties
*** Will be required to read production tickets on the pieces of furniture being sanded
* Manually sands wood furniture and frames using various jigs and tools developed for sanding
* Repairs minor defects in the wood using appropriate tools and materials
* Must follow all safety policies and procedures
* Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals## Qualifications
** Position Requirements
*** High school diploma or GED preferred
* Previous sanding experience a plus, especially with Side Stroke and Pump Sanding

* Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
* While standing, position will require bending, squatting, kneeling and twisting
* Must be able to work in noisy environments
* Must be able to work in dusty environments
* Must have manual dexterity in order to operate tools as directed
* Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 25 lbs.; occasionally lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
